An evironmental disaster over a 40-mile stretch of Dunkard Creek at the Pennsylvania/West Virginia border was not caused by Marcellus Shale activity, two reports have concluded.
Environmental activists in New York used the disaster to mislead the public amid initial reports that officials were considering Marcellus drilling operations as a cause of the kill.
